Today is a day to remember....I wrote these words before you left our side because I wanted you to hear them before you passed on, I read them at your funeral and a year on I now share them with the world.... I still feel you are near and think of you every day..... Beautiful Barbara...

To me you are an Angel….

Thank you for all you are and ever have been. I am grateful to have had the chance to be your “peque”!

You have been a mother to many, especially to cute blonde freckly gwirls!!

Your home is and always has been open to everyone, you catered and cared for more than your share and have touched so many life’s with your generosity and beauty.

You have been an extremely inspirational person in my life. You are the true example of courage, perseverance and strength.

You have always opened your heart and soul to the world and all of its wonderful creatures, and even though life has made far too many obstacles for you to clear, you have always found a reason to smile and carry on. Your battle has been a constant for too long and we all respect your decisions and courage to say enough is enough.

A battle far too big for one to win, but you have fought like no one else could I am sure.

This is your time and choice to release, let go and free yourself from pharmaceutical commitment and constant hospital visits.

Your spirit is so strong that it will eternally live on through all those who you have touched, humans and animals alike!

You taught us to bake amazing cakes, to sing and dance with no fear or regret, to be gentle and kind with every single life form, to ride horses like the wind, to cherish and be grateful to those who share our life’s and you taught us to love life after all...

I will be always happy and eternally grateful for everything you shared with me and with all those who touched your life.
Every moment that we lived together will stay in my mind and heart for all the days to come, I will carry on with courage on the journey of life making sure it’s filled with plenty of great adventures, just as you would like it to be.

Beautiful Barbara, have no fear, we are by your side and always near. You are strong like the most beautiful horse I have ever looked upon, Frissona, she is your soul mate in the animal kingdom.

You have gifted life with happiness, love and joy. You have always had time to talk, to cuddle and to teach us an important valuable lesson each and every day.

I feel blessed to have found you back in 1987, thanks to Ami I came in to the Napier world…you all helped make my childhood seem like a dream come true, filled with princess’s, castles, music, animals, playgrounds and the best pool parties Mojacar has ever seen!

I have written this just to let you know how much you mean to me and how much I love you so….

When I reach my lowest, I find my high.
I dissolve in to a messy muddle and literally melt in to Mother Nature to re-join, rejoice and regain the essence of my true nature.
As I lose myself, I disconnect, I disappear and empty my physical being of all attachments and worries. 
My mind cannot influence my state, it has nothing to hold on to, nothing to attack or attract.
A part of me dies, only to be able to give birth to a new consciousness.
It is now that the quietness and peace finds the wealthy well of selflessness, the inner noise is silent. The mind has been tamed, named and placed aside for only to be called upon when I wish.
Only now when I become, when I become nothing, when `I´ has gone, the path seems clear, clean, complete, my ends seem to meet in an endless circle of duality.
For there is only peace when war exists, only light when dark appears, only one is none, what is here has gone, for my truth is within.
Nothing is everything and one can only fill, what once was empty.

I am, we are, all part of the same picture...
